Bob Beck

Bob Beck has been waking-up Bismarck-Mandan for 28 years .... the last 13 on COOL 98.7!! Bob's radio career began when he was a high school senior in Iowa and has taken him all across the country, and to Armed Forces Radio in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army. Stops along the way included several years in Kansas City and the legendary KOMA in Oklahoma City!
Bob had the privilege of interviewing the Beatles during their 1st tour of the U.S.,when appearing in Kansas City.
In 1999, "the Conclave" radio convention in Minneapolis selected Bob to recieve their annual "Rockwell Award" for his contributions to broadcasting. Coming to Bismarck-Mandan from Green Bay, WI, Bob is an avid "Packer" fan....loves riding his Harley and playing golf....
The North Dakota Broadcasters Association recently recognized Bob with the
2009 "Pioneer Award" for outstanding dedication, leadership & service to the
North Dakota Broadcasting industry.

Linae Wolff
|
Linae is a native North Dakotan, hailing from Braddock, ND. She is married to Wayne Wolff,. Linae’s abilities include lighting specialist, commercial designer, Photoshop expert, architectural planner, and voice talent… in other words, she can design your house, pick out the lighting, decorate it, publish a magazine about it, and then brag about it on the morning show!
Linae is also Mother to Jonica, Alex, Janae, and Jessica (two-legged children) along with Snickers and Midnight (four-legged children). She recently became a mother-in-law to Jonica’s husband, Michael.

Scott McGowan

Scott McGowan came to COOL 98.7 in 2001 from Minot and loves being part of a station that refuses to let the great songs go away! Scott is heard on COOL early afternoons (12-3pm)....along with the greatest hits, you'll hear local news of interest, breaking national stories and on those rare "cranky" days...he pulls out the soapbox for an occasional "rant"... When he's not second-guessing the Viking's coaching staff...he will explain how the "next season" will be the year of Purple domination!
Scott lives in Bismarck with his lovely daughter, loving puppy and one loud mouth cat! Scott enjoys long dog-walks across the prairie, comedies that no one else things are funny and a really good chicken-fried steak. scott.mcgowan@cumulus.com
